Position Overview:
The B-Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high standards of production, quality, yield, and safety in the production environment.
The key responsibilities include managing the production process, maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper staffing, and overseeing daily production activities.
This role requires promoting a safe work environment, coordinating with team members on job rotation, conducting morning exercises, and ensuring machinery and workstations meet USDA inspection standards.
The supervisor will also communicate company policies and benefits to team members, provide motivation and guidance, and support training, retention, and counseling.
Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production orders, ensuring all positions are filled before start-up.
- Conduct morning exercises, manage job rotations, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
- Ensure machinery and workstations are up to standard and compliant with USDA requirements.
- Promote safety awareness, conduct monthly safety meetings, and foster a safety-first culture.
- Ensure accurate shipment processes, inventory rotation, and product coding.
- Communicate company policies and encourage team members, handling training, retention, and counseling as needed.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School education required.
- Minimum of 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment (preferably pork or beef).
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Must be open to regional relocation if required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
