Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an innovative CAD Designer to conceptualize, develop, and oversee a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in wastewater, water, roadway, solar, erosion control, and site design projects.


Compensation:
The client offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $130,000, based on experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong dedication to attracting top-tier talent for this critical role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, design, develop, and maintain construction projects of varying scales in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.
  • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze various data sources (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.).
  • Evaluate potential risks, materials, and costs.
  • Provide creative solutions to emerging problems and deficiencies.
  • Oversee the handover of completed structures and services.
  • Monitor project progress and compile status reports.
  • Manage budgets and procure equipment and materials.

Qualifications:
  • PE or Engineer in Training license required.
  • Proficient in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with Civil 3D.
  • Strong knowledge in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
  • Excellent project management and supervisory skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • BS/MA in Civil Engineering.
