NASC GLOBAL is excited to collaborate with our well-regarded client in the search for a Senior Process Engineer who is passionate about driving innovation in the food equipment industry.

Overview: In this pivotal role, you will take charge of engineering projects, collaborating closely with both project management and the design manager. This full-time hybrid position provides the flexibility of remote work while requiring occasional onsite presence, with travel expectations of up to 25%. Candidates must be prepared to commute to the New London, MN office.

Compensation and Benefits:
Our client values your expertise and offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skills. This commitment reflects their dedication to attracting and retaining exceptional talent for this critical role.


Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing P&IDs: You will play a crucial role in developing and completing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Conducting Mass Balances: Your expertise will be vital in performing mass balances to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Refining Equipment Specifications: You will be responsible for creating and refining Design Specification Information (DSI) equipment specifications, ensuring that they align with project goals and client needs.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to facilitate project execution and success. Your ability to communicate effectively and foster collaboration will be key to overcoming challenges and driving results.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in evaporation, spray drying, or other food equipment processes.
  • Proficiency in 2D CAD (AutoCAD) and foundational 3D modeling (SolidWorks), alongside strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Desired Certifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • Any additional industry-related certifications that demonstrate your expertise.
