This role presents an exceptional opportunity to manage complex family law cases across King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties, while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.


Work Location: Remote. Working for the state of Washington.

Job Overview:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for strategic litigation, client advising, and comprehensive case management. You will adeptly handle a high volume of tasks and competing deadlines, ensuring the best outcomes for your clients.


Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $170,000, plus bonus and sign-on bonus, commensurate with your experience, education, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this essential role. Benefits offered as well.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective case strategies for family law litigation.
  • Coordinate deadlines and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Argue cases and represent clients in court hearings.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide informed advice on case outcomes.
  • Prepare for mediations, trials, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Manage a team of paralegals and support staff.
  • Bill a minimum of 1500 hours annually and meet established productivity targets.
  • Handle multiple projects and tasks with urgency and precision.

Support Provided:
  • Dedicated paralegal(s) for full-time assistance.
  • Client leads provided with flexibility in consultations.
  • Full autonomy over case management and client relationships.
  • A management team focused on your success and professional development.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Family Law litigation in Washington State.
  • Washington Bar admission in good standing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and the Clio practice management system.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of requests and competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Teams in a collaborative environment.
