NASC GLOBAL, HR Consulting and Management firm is searching on behalf of our distinguished client a talented Payroll Supervisor for an onsite position located in Federal Way, WA with direct reports. The compensation package range is $60,000 – $70,000, contingent on work experience, education, certification, and leadership skills, plus benefits are included.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor.
- Must reside near Federal Way, Washington.
- Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Payroll Operations: Lead the daily payroll functions, including large bonus processing and year-end reporting, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Manage Bi-Weekly Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll while coordinating with the Payroll Support Team for system maintenance and schedules.
- Audit and Compliance Management: Review audit reports, enforce cut-off times, and maintain necessary documentation for payroll processing.
- Drive Process Improvements: Collaborate with the Payroll Support Team to implement process enhancements and provide training to Payroll Coordinators for improved performance.
- Cultivate Communication: Develop strong relationships across departments, fostering open communication regarding payroll operations.
- Stay Informed on Regulations: Keep current on payroll regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and procedures.
- Provide Team Leadership: Guide and mentor direct reports, creating a positive and compliant work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment, coupled with supervisory experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Excel are essential, with intermediate proficiency in Word and Outlook. Experience with large-scale electronic payroll systems, such as ADP, Paycor, Paylocity, Workday or PeopleNet, is a plus.
- Certifications: A CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation is preferred.
- Reporting Tools: Experience with payroll reporting and analytics tools to assess and improve payroll processes.
