Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and create individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation and records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to effectively implement behavior intervention strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to staff, caregivers, and families on behavior management techniques.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest best practices in applied behavior analysis through ongoing professional development.
Required Skills:
- Behavioral Health Expertise: Strong background in behavioral health and experience with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Skilled in tracking and evaluating client progress.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and team members.
- Evidence-Based Knowledge: Familiarity with behavior analysis and intervention strategies, maintaining current knowledge of best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA, or eligibility to test for certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in behavioral health, particularly with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
- Skills: Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health, proficiency in patient assessment, and exceptional data collection abilities.
