Must-Have Top Qualification:
- Experience in running a manufacturing maintenance department.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in conducting failure analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance department, ensuring effective maintenance strategies are in place to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and develop strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices in maintenance processes.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment performance and maintenance activities to drive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
Desired Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Competency in CAD software for design and layout improvements.
- Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, NFPA) and environmental regulations.
