Position Overview:
The A-Shift Production Supervisor for the Harvesting department is responsible for ensuring high standards of production, quality, and safety.
This role includes managing production processes, maintaining accurate records, overseeing staffing, and ensuring all machinery and workstations meet USDA standards.
The supervisor promotes a safe work environment through daily initiatives and monthly safety meetings, ensuring proper product coding, inventory rotation, and shipments. Additional duties include communicating company policies and benefits to team members and providing encouragement, training, and counseling as needed.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $45,000 to $85,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

- Manage daily production orders, ensure all positions are filled, and oversee morning exercises and job rotation.
- Ensure machinery and workstations meet USDA inspection standards.
- Promote daily safety practices and lead monthly safety meetings.
- Oversee accurate shipments, product coding, and inventory rotation.
- Communicate company policies and benefits to team members, supporting them through training, retention, and counseling.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School education required.
- Minimum of 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment (preferably pork or beef).
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Must be open to regional relocation if required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
