Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend HR goals and strategies to enhance co-worker relations and maintain a positive organizational culture.
- Lead and manage co-worker relations programs aimed at improving employee satisfaction, retention, and overall experience.
- Oversee recruitment and staffing initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices in talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with broader organizational goals and drive the achievement of business objectives.
- Supervise HR team responsible for recruitment, employee policies, and training programs, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions, maintaining a fair and compliant work environment.
- Manage the HR department budget and ensure operational efficiency within approved financial limits.
- Oversee the onboarding and orientation process for new employees, ensuring seamless integration into the organization.
- Direct recruitment efforts in collaboration with Nursing Administration and department heads to meet staffing needs.
- Provide HR policy and procedure training to leadership teams to ensure compliance and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Significant experience in co-worker relations and Human Resource Management principles and practices.
- SHRM Certified Professional (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR).
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare HR management.
- Microsoft Office Suite: General experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for reporting, presentations, and communication.
Technical Skills: Desired, not required.
- HRIS Systems: Proficient in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, ADP, or PeopleSoft, with the ability to generate reports, track employee data, and optimize system functionality.
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS): Experience with recruiting software, including ATS platforms like iCIMS, Greenhouse, or Lever, to streamline candidate sourcing, selection, and hiring processes.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Strong ability to analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and develop strategies that improve organizational performance and employee engagement.
- Employee Management Software: Familiarity with performance management systems (e.g., BambooHR, SuccessFactors) for tracking employee development, appraisals, and feedback.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS): Knowledge of LMS platforms such as Cornerstone OnDemand or LinkedIn Learning to manage employee training and development programs.
