Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $140,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal counsel and representation in all areas of Family Law, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence cases.
Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, from initial consultation through case resolution, ensuring timely and effective legal solutions.
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court pleadings.
Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and participate in mediation and arbitration sessions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Stay current on legal developments and changes in family law legislation, particularly in New Jersey, to provide informed legal advice.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners, such as mediators and forensic experts, to ensure comprehensive case strategy.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff, contributing to the firm’s growth and development.
Maintain a high level of client communication, keeping clients informed of case progress and any developments.

Qualifications:

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Bar Admission: Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar and have experience in New Jersey courts.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Family Law experience in New Jersey. Experience in New York Family Law is a plus but not required.
Strong legal research and writing skills are essential.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively represent clients and work within a team.
Demonstrated experience in family law litigation and settlement negotiations.
Ability to work independently and handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
