Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation:
- Consult diagrams and technical documentation, including schematics and manuals, to maintain and troubleshoot control systems.
- Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation.
- Instrumentation Management:
- Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment.
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog, & digital).
- Programming and Configuration:
- Configure and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
- Organize and order PLC control components to support plant process control systems.
- Project Management:
- Prepare technical reports to document issues and changes to equipment.
- Manage projects aimed at implementing changes and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of related experience required.
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience in PLC logic and programming, specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs and other controllers.
- Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, and testing.
Technical Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented work style.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
