This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to enhance process reliability and plant performance within a dynamic team.


Position Overview: As a Maintenance Control Technician, you will play a vital role in the Maintenance Team, working to deliver solutions that improve process reliability, product quality, and overall plant-wide performance. Your expertise in instrumentation and control systems will be essential to ensuring efficient operations.


Compensation: Our client offers a competitive compensation package starting salary $60,000 to $68,000, reflecting a commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this critical role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Consultation:
    • Consult diagrams and technical documentation, including schematics and manuals, to maintain and troubleshoot control systems.
    • Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation.
  • Instrumentation Management:
    • Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment.
    • Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog, & digital).
  • Programming and Configuration:
    • Configure and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
    • Organize and order PLC control components to support plant process control systems.
  • Project Management:
    • Prepare technical reports to document issues and changes to equipment.
    • Manage projects aimed at implementing changes and improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related experience required.

Desired Skills: 
  • Proven experience in PLC logic and programming, specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs and other controllers.
  • Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, and testing.

Technical Skills:
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented work style.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
