Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer (Structural), you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of various structural engineering projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate project activities from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will develop detailed project plans, establish milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Facilitate regular meetings and provide clear updates on project status, addressing any issues that may arise promptly and efficiently.
  • Engineering Expertise: Apply your structural engineering knowledge to design, analyze, and evaluate project specifications and requirements. Collaborate with design teams to create innovative solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize strong analytical skills to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Engage in troubleshooting during all project phases to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use AutoCAD and other structural design software to create detailed drawings and specifications. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations in all designs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure project alignment and integrity. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • 10+ years of minimum professional experience.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering and project management is essential. Familiarity with construction processes and methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other structural design software; experience with project management tools is highly desirable.
Desired Certifications:
  • LEED, PMP, or similar will be considered a strong advantage.
