NASC GLOBAL, a leading HR Consulting and Management firm, is excited to support the search for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Services for our valued client. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic organization.

Our client is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their busy 15-bed Women's Services Department. This night shift role is ideal for an RN with experience in obstetrical nursing, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. You will be working three 12-hour night shifts per week and must be comfortable managing critical situations, such as C-sections, epidural care, and fetal monitoring.

Compensation:
 Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $63,000 to $80,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Record patient information accurately and concisely in medical records.
  • Perform technical aspects of patient care per established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of patients at all times.
  • Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings accurately.
  • Safely and successfully place fetal scalp electrodes when needed.
  • Prepare patients for C-section procedures with efficiency and precision.
  • Follow physician orders for postpartum patients and adjust nursing care as necessary.
  • Assist during vaginal deliveries, including vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries.
  • Provide appropriate newborn care at the time of delivery.
  • Demonstrate understanding of epidural anesthesia protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Active Nevada RN License.
  • Experience: Women's services hospital nursing experience. Previous experience in obstetrical nursing.
  • Comfortable working the night shifts.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification is a plus.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in fetal monitoring.
  • Familiarity with C-section protocols and procedures.
  • Competence in administering epidural anesthesia.
  • Strong patient assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of postpartum care practices.

Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
