Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for our client, located in Georgetown, KY, 40324.

Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $48,600 - $72,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Work Shift: Wed-Fri (7 AM - 7 PM / 7 PM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and explain procedures to ensure their comfort and understanding.
Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures in accordance with established standards.
Support radiologists during interventional procedures, such as paracentesis and needle aspirations/biopsies.
Maintain accurate records and assist with scheduling to facilitate efficient patient flow.
Oversee the maintenance of ultrasound equipment and supplies, keeping the work area organized for optimal efficiency.

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasonography required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Certifications: Must be certified in one of the following (within 10 days of hire):

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS)
ARRT (R) with a KY License
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
